great steeps, great people, rarely crowded
long runoffs, pricey
BC has some of the best steeps in Colorado, and they are mostly off two chairs (Birds of Prey, Grouse Mtn) that rarely build up lines, so you can get the most out of your ski day until your legs are ready to fall off. There are some great woods areas too, but they aren't easy to find (did BC do that on purpose?). The employees are extremely helpful and friendly, and the free buses run from the free parking lots on a good schedule all day. A few areas are hard to get to and from without long boring traverses. After a snowstorm, it would be nice if they left a few more non-mogul intermediate runs ungroomed, but that's a small issue compared to the overwhelming positives that BC provides its customers.
