The staff is pretty friendly. There are various runs but no real black diamonds. The black diamonds here are moguls. Most of the green runs aren't that beginner friendly. If your completely new, expect to get stuck on the flat areas of the green runs if you don't know how to maintain your speed. The rest of the runs are long and nice for cruising. There are several different parks at different difficulty levels. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends. The parking is not too bad unless you have to park in a E lot which is the furthest. Even then it isn't too far of a walk to just leave belongings in the car instead of renting a locker.
Its is one of the nicest resorts closet to Sacramento. Just an hour and 30 minutes! There isn't any hotels nearby so you'd have to drive pretty far if you plan to spend the night.
