Upon arrival, you find that you must pay to park in the old free lot that seemed miles away. Now you park in a lot behind the gas station and take a shuttle bus with 50 others and their gear. Upon arrival at the Northstar bus station, your bus parks as far away from the entrance as possible. Then you walk through the empty village to the ticket line, which is a mile long. Then you get in the gondola line. Hint: Get in the shorter singles line. It merges into the regular line later on. Once up at mid-camp, you get to wait in more lines. Want to ski? Wait in line. Want to eat? Wait in line. Want to sit at a table? Forget it. Apres Ski? Very few shops leased. Only three restaurants. All crowded. Timber Creek doesn't even open until 2pm. Drag all of your gear back to the Northstairs bus station and ride the crowded bus back to your car. At least you are closer to the highway for a quicker getaway.
