For years I've been reading and writing about the steep and deep of Kirkwood. So I thought it was time to buy a season pass out there. Then I kept waiting for the snow to fall. I'm still waiting. I'm beginning to think I'm the reason Mother Nature is snickering and my friends are whining. I'm almost ready to turn in the pass just to to see if that would make it start dumping. I've been out to the Wood once this season -- last Friday -- and I was calling it Kirkrock. I've been doing my snow dance for months now. A whisper in the trees says tomorrow is going to be sick day. I think I'll keep my pass through the weekend.
