When the snow is good, there's no better place to be. When the winds get wonky and other mountains go on wind hold, Homewood is still good. If you're looking for fresh powder, this place will have it far after others are tracked out as well. Great place to ski! Terrain is awesome with some fun challenging stuff as well as great tree-skiing. On a powder day, you have fresh lines all day and ever good stuff a day or two after while most other mountains get tracked out in a few hours. While most of the lifts are slower, the lack of lines/crowds definitely makes up for it. Trails are of decently long and better than many other mountains. Best of all, even when "crowded," this place less busy than most others on a slow day. Season to date, I haven't waited more than a minute, literally, in a lift line. Vistas of the lake all day as well. While does not have the quantity, size-wise, when compared to others, the quality is easily there.
