Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is the region's largest mountain resort, featuring the highest elevation and longest vertical drop. The views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range are magnificent. The mountain averages 360” of annual snowfall covering 4,800 skiable acres and a 3,500’ vertical drop. Sitting on the border of California and Nevada it’s easy, to find a variety of entertainment and nightlife after a day on the slopes at Heavenly. The resort offers world class Aprés Ski at its Tamarack Lodge and in the surrounding South Lake Tahoe area.     One of a kind and gorgeous

    Pros: Decent coverage despite minimal snowfall
