We skied Heavenly on Feb. 10, 11 and 13. We knew of the poor coverage but because we'd booked lodging and flights (from the East Coast) months ago, we went ahead with the trip. We're glad we did! Even with minimal natural snowfall, coverage is good at Heavenly, and the views -- as always -- are jaw-dropping. On Feb. 13, we enjoyed 6 inches of powder, which opened up a ton of terrain we hadn't been able to ski earlier. Plus, the staff at Heavenly is fantastic -- ALWAYS willing to help with directions, etc. This place is everything it's cracked up to be, even when Mother Nature isn't cooperating. Our only complaints: Grooming could be expanded, and footrests on a couple of the chairlifts would rest those weary quads and knees! Already planning a return visit.
