First-hand Reports

Whistler/Blackcomb +

Been here for last 14 days and had a blast. Lower slopes are a no go but there's loads of fun still to be had. Except at 7th Heaven. Worst name yet.

If you are a powder snob, don't bother. We've been here for 6 days Had fun EVERY day. There is plenty of good snow. Very limited icy spots but hard packed most places. They are doing a good job of making it decent. The slush on the last run down is really fun. Almost like surfing wave. waves. waves.

Some snow is better than no snow, right? Good thing Whistler still has a lot of it. Mid mountain and up is still tons of fun, plenty of stashes to ride. Anyone telling you to cancel just wants the snow to themselves. Hit the slopes right when they open and take an early lunch.

Good groomers up top, plenty of runs to choose from, some very good groomers but icy spots are prevalent. Yday had two to three inches of powder up top, total dust in crust. Come on up if you are content e blue groomers. Stay at home if you are powder hungry. No snow down low

The top of both mountains are just fine, not great, but plenty of coverage. Spring like on blue bird days, lots of fun !
