Definitely not the best of conditions but there was still fun to be had cruising the corduroy. Still descent snow up top WP and PP. Groomer trails. They have done a good job keeping it functional on the lower with man made snow.

This message is for jl's Save your money!!!! It's been a bad year! long range forcast isn't calling for much snow. In fact, I heard Fernie might also be closing early this year. Stay clear of the low altitude resorts in B.C. They've had lots of rain and warm weather. I just canceled my trip to Red Mountain Resort & Whitewater due to poor conditions. This weather pattern happens about every 10 yrs. Sunshine Village is probably ur best bet for decent snow, and even their having a so so year.

I'm book to go at fernie the weekend of March 14. Any hope it would improve by that time? Or should I wait till next year to have a good experience? Thanks
