great terrain and great mauntain hosts
Fog, too much fog
It is a great mountain, abundance of snow and terrain. Loved skiing with the mountain hosts, who are a group of very dedicated men and woman. They seem to know every skiing path on the mountain and eager to show it to you. They have made the difference in my vacation. Actually without them, would not be able to ski for 3 days out of 6 because the mountain was so heavily fooged in, on some days I could barely see the yellow jacket of the host skiing in front of me. The one and only grocery store in the village is a disgrace - a monopoly charging double or close to it. Loved the New York cut stake at the Showshoe Sam's - a pleasant surprise. Did not try other restaurants for dinner, so can not comment.
