    Good Start

    Pros: Close to Phoenix

    Cons: Lifts are slow

    What I love about Snowbowl is that my vacation doesn't have to consist of just skiing/snowboarding. I can fly into Phoenix, visit family, hike the wonderful mountains of Phoenix (Flatiron, for example)... Full review

    Snowbowl Offers Modest, High Desert Riding with Fantastic Nightlife

    Cons: Limited terrain, Shotty conditions, Slow Lifts, Ice

    For being in AZ, what other choices are there?

    Pros: Close Parking, Great for Beginners

    Cons: only 2 lifts, super small, short, wet/icy seasons

    Well, what do you expect? I cannot yet compare Snowbowl to Sunrise, but I do know it's better than nothing. Flying to Tahoe is always worth it, but I just practice at... Full review
