I visited Snowbowl today (friday jan. 29) after a nice powdering of 4". Getting to the resort is a bit tough since traffic in Flagstaff moves at a crawl. Parking is a bit of a pin but not something to get worked up about. All the green runs are well groomed and wide enough to where they don't seem too crowded. Most of the blue runs are groomed and a few are left natural. The blue runs are challenging for the intermediate skier and the green runs will keep the beginner well challenged as he/she progresses. When you get to the top of the mountain, the views are priceless (keep in mind you are 11,000 ft/17,000km so you can see for almost 100 miles/160km. The black diamond runs are very challenging and fun. Again, the lifts are slow but since the runs are not very long it's bearable. The lift prices are reasonable and since the resort is 2 hours from Phoenix, it makes it a very good buy. I'll definitely ski here again.
