It’s been a rough start to the season at most places, but Meadowlark is one of the few that was lucky enough to open with natural snow. On 12/14 the snow from the top of the lift going down to the top of the blue trails was very thin and I got several digs in my skis from rocks. Once you get down to the trails there was plenty of snow on the blues in the middle, but the greens on the far left had some bad spots. The bottom of the blacks on the right were open and boarders were hitting jumps, but it looked like too much of a chance of hitting rocks to risk it. Overall it was a fun day skiing, sticking to the center of the mountain. Looks like they should be getting a few more inches by Christmas!
