Trail Report 1/18/2021
The recent winter storm has passed, leaving behind a total of 18 inches of fresh snow on the mountain. Thanks to this snowfall, we are able to keep open 17 natural trails on the mountain, keeping our trail count at 28! Currently we are focusing our snowmaking efforts on B Slope and are planning on finishing up the rest of Timber Run later this week. There is also more snow in the forecast along with cold temperatures, so our mountain crews are planning on continuing their snowmaking efforts to increase our open trail count. We encourage you to check the trail report on our website here for more up-to-date trail conditions and information throughout that day.
We are temporarily suspending operations at our tube park for the next few days. We apologize for any inconvenience.
With a newly remodeled rental shop, you can now order your ski, snowboard and boot rentals in advance and skip those lines upon arrival. We are also excited to launch the new RFID (Radio Frequency ID) lift ticket and lift gate system as well. With this new system, you will be able to purchase passes online and receive a plastic RFID card that allows you to reload lift tickets or season passes via your mobile phone or computer. Preorder rentals and purchase your ski pass by visiting ski.canaanresort.com.
Quenchers Pub will be open from 11am - 5pm for all your food and beverage needs.
Conditions are looking great for another day of skiing Canaan! See you on the mountain!
