Snow Reporter Comments: 12/11 Operations Update: Hello Crystal skiers and riders, the mountain will remain closed  through Tuesday 12/16 with opening day still TBA. Stay tuned for updates towards early next week. Please refer to WSDOT and the Enumclaw Police Dept page for any updates on the status of highway 410. We encourage everyone to avoid any travel on 410 for now due to risk of treefall and mudslides. A huge shout out to the Crystal and Greenwater community who’ve been working hard, out filling sandbags, firing up generators, and helping neighbors along the 410 corridor these last couple days. Near record-breaking rainfall and warm temperatures across Western Washington this week have not provided any relief to our low snowpack, but the forecast shows a return to cold temperatures and the potential for much needed snowfall Tuesday and onwards. We are hopeful about this pattern shift. Looking back, the 08/09 winter season was also a La Niña Year and we didn't open until December 13, but still received above average snowfall at 463" throughout the season. Mountain operations teams remain at the ready as soon as the required conditions are there, and we can all start doing what we do best! Until then, stay safe, stay dry, and keep thinking SNOW. Webcams (other than the ridgeline panocam) are offline due to a mountain power outage.Season to date snowfall + Base Depths reported as of  12/11.
