Snow Reporter Comments: Sunday, May 11th 2025 It's a sunny Sunday and a good day to hit the slopes. Come on up and enjoy access to Green Valley lift all day today! Upload in the gondola and soak up spring or stop by the Summit House to check off Mother's Day brunch! Please note, there is no ski to base and you must download via gondola. No beginner terrain is accessible either, ski and ride with caution and obey all signage + closures!   Rainier Express Chairs now available for bidding, REX 1988 Auction benefitting NWAC   Summer activities start Memorial Day Weekend, May 23rd -26 and continue on weekends (Friday-Sunday) until daily summer operations begin June 27th  
NOTES FOR THE EXTENDED SEASON
  Extended Operating Dates + Operations: Saturday and Sunday May 10-11 and 17-18, and Friday through Monday for Memorial Day weekend, May 23-26 (conditions permitting.) Green Valley is scheduled to run with up and download on the Gondola. • Please note: There is no beginner terrain at this point. Conditions can vary quite a bit throughout the day. Morning snow surfaces tend to be very firm, and while there's still decent coverage in most areas, there are still plenty of exposed hazards and low coverage to be aware of. By midday, things can soften up and get a bit slushy in places, so make sure you have some wax ready to roll. Please use caution, respect all closures, and stay alert to all posted signage on the mountain. • Anticipated lift operations for extended weekends after May 4th: Green Valley with up and download on the Gondola. 3:00PM last download for skiers and riders, 3:30PM last download for foot traffic. • RENTALS are done for the season • F&B Brew 62: 6:30am-4:00pm, Summit House: 10:30am – 3:00pm last seating Summit House: 10:30am – 3:00pm last seating • TERRAIN PARKS are done for the season • Daily conditions reports will now be posted by 7:30 am on days lift operate. • Parking reservations are no longer required for the remainder of the 24/25 Ski Season. • Rafters is no longer available as a warming space.   Uphill Travel Status For April 30th and beyond: PERMITTED on the standard route only: Through the Meadow, up Quicksilver, and NOW IN ALL OF SILVER BASIN. Uphill travel is NOT permitted in the rest of the ski area, 7 days a week, as heavy equipment will be in operation. During non lift operational days THERE IS NO SKI PATROL or AVALANCHE MITIGATION. If you encounter machinery working in the lower area, STAY AT LEAST 100 FEET AWAY at all times! And don't leave your equipment anywhere it might get run over! As we continue into the extended season stay tuned to this Mountain Report each morning for updated information about Uphill Travel routes. If you're unsure of current uphill status, as always: defer to the lights at the bottom of Base Area lifts that indicate "UPHILL TRAVEL CLOSED!" when flashing.

Upper half of the mountain was closed. Snow conditions good for learner skiers and Borders who like to charge. Visibility good and about 4inches over the day.

Crystal Mountain offers 2,600 acres of accessible terrain (2,300 acres of which are lift served). Skiers and riders will find everything from relaxed groomers to challenging advanced terrain.
