Snow Reporter Comments: 1/24 5:43AM - Good Morning Stratton! We will begin Saturday operations at 8:30 AM, with access to lower mountain terrain only. Lower mountain lifts that will be operating include American Express, Tamarack, Cub Carpet, and Theodore Carpet. Upper-mountain and Sun Bowl access will be delayed until our patrol team deems conditions safe, and they will be closely monitoring temperatures throughout the day. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone's safety on the mountain. Check the mountain report for updates throughout the day!If you're joining us to ski or ride today, here are some tips to keep yourself and others safe on the mountain: Bundle up with extra layers, cover all exposed skin with a face mask, take regular breaks in the lodge to warm up, pack hand and toe warmers, ski or ride with a friend, and keep an eye out for frostbite.These temperatures won't last long; by Sunday, it will be more comfortable outside with temperatures beginning to rise and wind dying down. Along with that, we have snow on the way! That's right, we're expecting around 10-14 inches of new snow by Monday. So buckle up!Safety Tip: Cover up, leave no skin exposed and watch out for frost bite!It’s National Safety Month, dedicated to promoting skier and rider responsibility and mountain safety.
