More updates to come shortly!9AM:  All terrain parks are closed today while the park crew works to preserve and protect the features. 7:40 AM: Due to last night's rain, we are implementing some snow preservation tactics this morning. We will begin the day on the lower mountain only, anticipating temperatures to drop quickly mid-morning. The grooming team is out in full force, recovering and preparing for that temperature change. We anticipate opening the summit around 10AM. Check back for updates. 3/12 6AM - After a stretch of spring-like weather, temperatures are swinging back towards winter overnight. As we begin recovering from the recent warm-up, today’s plan will look a little different with 63 trails open. All open trails have been groomed overnight as we take advantage of temperatures to reset the surface and rebuild conditions across the mountain. Our crews will continue these efforts the next few days with the goal of bringing additional terrain back online heading into the weekend.Looking at today’s weather, colder temperatures will continue to move in along with the chance of mixed rain and snow showers, so be sure to dust off that extra layer and stay aware of changing weather and surface conditions. For your way up, 9 lifts are scheduled to spin at 9AM with the possibility of wind and weather-related delays, with summit wind gusts forecasted up to 55 mph. Please note beginner skiing and riding is not recommended from the summit due to these conditions.Stratton has a strong track record of bouncing back from weather swings, and with colder temps returning and some snow in the forecast, we’re optimistic about building conditions back up as we head toward the weekend.
