I've been going to PN for years, now taking my kids here. The weekends are super busy this year, no one is afraid of Covid so it's flooded with people. They do enforce mask wearing in lines, and don't pair up singles to fill the lifts, which adds to the line back-up. Understandable, but what is NOT ACCEPTABLE is that they do not run the White lift during the week. I came during the week to avoid lines and with the white lift not running the lines were too long on all of the other lifts-UNACCEPTABLE!... Full Review

Love this place but very frustrating to be here in Covid and and to feel like I’m risking my family’s health for something which could be so easily better managed. In Colorado the folks who manage the lines kindly ask everyone to wear a mask and there’s full compliance. Wish it was the same here. ... Full Review

Don't waste your money on a gift card. They have a horrible policy about the gift card having inactivity on it and then charging you a fee. Really, it's based on weather! Customer service very rude.... Full Review

Ahhh, Perfect North. Honestly, its a great place to be introduced to skiing/snowboarding for the first time. Its a bit difficult to learn here compared to elsewhere due to the fact that a majority of the time skiing is on a layer of ice, but I'm not going to consider that a negative due to the nature of the location of the resort. While it may be more difficult to get the basics down due to the nature of the top-layer, they do provide you with a first-time skiing/snowboarding lesson with your lift ticket, which is honestly an amazing deal and helps get more people out on the slopes and be more willing to give a try. The instructors do a good job of being patient and encouraging people when they get the small things right. There are plenty of instructors available, and the few interactions I've had with them has been positive. The trail quality? Pretty poor. You're going to feel like you're ice skating laps down a hill versus in a rink. It's just a fact. They do what they can't with the weird, bipolar winter in this region and blast snow with the fan guns whenever possible to keep the hill covered. Trail length is an issue, which is where the the skating laps comes in. The longest trail is a mile long, so you'll probably spend most your time waiting in the chairlift line and riding it up. However, this is true of most ski-resorts anyway, its just more noticeable here due to the short length of the trails. The lodge is a lodge. It's well decorated and gets extremely busy on the weekends. Kept nice and warm. There are two levels to the lodge itself, with the second level being additional seating and a lodge shop. First level has a cafeteria which consists of nothing special, unless you love LaRosa's. There is a soft drink machine and some bottled drinks such as water, energy drinks, and sports drinks. There is a hot drink shop that I've never personally tried anything from. Nothing to write home about, a bit annoying to have to walk up steps to get to the lodge in ski boots, but not an issue and understandable due to the fact that the equipment area is downstairs. The equipment area has a tuning area so if your skis/snowboard need a doctor or just need a routine checkup(waxing) then this is where you can get it taken care of. Never dealt with them so I can't review that aspect, sadly. Rental equipment seems to be well-taken care of. Easy to get your gear, just grab your boots, bring your rental paper to an associate and they'll ask you the usual questions about height and weight so that they can properly set the DIN on your skis, get your skis, grab your poles, helmet and go! The ski boots are pretty comfortable for rentals and the skis rode well. Ski poles are showing some wear and tear but nothing to worry about, just grab another pole that isn't bent. Overall I enjoy my time whenever I come here and look forward to coming back whenever I can. I am grateful to have any skiing in this area of Indiana and I plan on buying a pass every year so that I can enjoy the sport and get make my minimum amount of days on skis. Thank you to the Perfect family for providing a great place to ski.... Full Review

Perfect North Slopes continues to amaze me with how fast they can make snow !! Great Hill with some good steeps as well as a fantastic beginners chair area. Food is good and not to expensive. I keep coming back year after year !! You have to drive up to Cabrafae Peaks in north central Michigan to get anything as good ! Try this area, you will love it ! Perfect North Rocks !... Full Review

Having grown up and raced in the northeast, I have to admit that I am impressed with PN for getting the utmost out of what they have to work with. No, it is not going to challenge anyone from Sugarloaf or Whistler, but for us out here who want to at least get SOMETHING in for skiing without having spend a small fortune and fly somewhere, you cannot go wrong. Excellent place for beginners and lower intermediates, and their Terrain Park give the local hotshots a lot of fun - Nick Goepper grew up here, and he's no slouch!... Full Review
