Terrain

Located in the picturesque Okanagan Valley and overlooking the Monashee Mountains, Big White is known for having short lift lines and light dry powder. The ski area also serves up a great selection of terrain for everyone with deep powder bowls, wide-open glades and long groomed trails.

Big White contains modern facilities combined with a well-thought-out trail system. The resort has more than 2,700 skiable acres and a good mix of beginner to advanced runs.

Inside Scoop

When exploring the terrain at Big White, make sure to look out for “snow ghosts” that haunt the mountain. The snow ghosts are frosty, snow-caked trees that have been dubbed ghosts by the locals. Fear not as these trees are truly a site to behold.
