Snow Reporter Comments: 02 Jul 2025
UPDATED WEDNESDAY 2nd JULY 7:25 AM: SEVERE WEATHER WARNING TODAY
Cloud and low visibility are on the cards today, so don’t forget your low-light lenses. High winds are forecast for today that may have some impact on lift operations.
There’s a firm-packed base underfoot with freshly groomed runs ready to roll. Take your pick from Little Buller Spur, Skyline, Family Run or Summit. Off-piste terrain is looking a little wild, with some thin and patchy sections, so keep your eyes peeled and your turns tidy.
Icy patches around the village and on walkways mean it’s a good idea to tread carefully. On the slopes, take it easy in this low visibility, give others spaces and enjoy a cruisy day on the snow.
Mt. Buller Ski Resort is the most accessible ski area in Australia and has the largest lift network in Victoria. The resort and alpine village treat spectators to gorgeous mountain scenery and excellent accommodation options. Mt. Buller is about a three hour drive from Melbourne.
