Snow Report
Status update for Sun, Feb 18

6:35 AM
We're waking up to a refreshing 3 to 4 inches of fluffy snow. Early birds can look forward to quiet, powdery laps and soft groomers. High temperatures are forecast to reach the mid 30s and while it's still flurrying now, we should see sunny skies later. Unseasonably warm weather and soft turns return for midweek, so enjoy another taste of winter while you can.

Groomers are working their magic on 56 trails. Sugarbush Parks' 4 beginner to expert freestyle areas are in great shape. Conditions could become increasingly firm and fast by the afternoon, though a bluebird afternoon and mild temperatures should keep lower mountain terrain sugary - especially on trail edges.

GMX, Super Bravo, & Heaven's Gate are scheduled at 8 AM. Base area lifts run 9 AM - 4 PM. Upper lifts spin 9 AM - 3:45 PM. Slide Brook Express is being assessed for re-opening but could remain closed due to lack of snow pack. Visit RideGMT.com for daily shuttle schedules between the base areas & beyond.

It's President's Day Weekend and we have plenty of activities on and off the snow, like guided snowshoe tours, a kid-friendly torchlight parade, spirit sampling at Castlerock Pub, a Tesla test drive event, and more.

Skiing soon? Purchase lift tickets online, with the lowest rates the earlier you buy, or pick up the next day's pass the prior afternoon, and skip the ticket window line in the morning.

Uphill travel is allowed before and after lift operations on designated routes. Stop by the Guest Services Desk for your free Uphill Travel Pass. Review the Skier/Rider Responsibility Code and the Winter Trail Use Policy to ensure a safe fun season of adventure.

Conditions are surprisingly good considering what Mother Nature has thrown at Sugarbush. Surfaces are loose granular. We need snow!

Mount Ellen hasn't made snow since the week of January 8th. All ice and/or no snow at all. Multiple warm ups and rain since then. Stay away!
