Lovely sunny skiing area what is also very nice in summer for hiking. All slopes are not so difficult, but it is really good to ski there because the slopes are very wide so you can enjoy you´re turns. There are some difficult runs where they also have a speed way to measure how fast you can go. You also have some possibilities for free riding but its more beside the slopes and not away from the area. Also touring I thin is a little bit difficult there. What they have is a bobsleigh what is also lightened in the evening, so a welcome alternative to boring evenings. Hochzeiger I think is a perfect place for families also because of the nature where the skiing area is situated in. The area is clear arranged, has a beautiful view and the most of the day it is sunny. The hotels are all on the way up to the skiing areas so you can easily get into a bus in the morning from the hotel which brings you direct to the lift. There is also a huge parking possibility If you prefer to go by car. The evenings in this town I think are quite calm. There are some apres ski tents but I have not seen a disco are something similar. The town also does not look like if there is a lot of party going on. So perhaps another plus for families.
