Nice skiing area which is ideal for families and beginners. This area is very close to the boarder of Germany. The slopes are on the easier side because the mountains are not so steep and rough like most of the Tyrolean mountains. But the area is very beautiful. There are many lakes and in winter there is normally a lot of snow. Most of the slopes are red and blue because of that ideal for families and beginners. Also the runs are quiet bride what makes skiing comfortable. The skiing area is close to Reutte where you can go shopping or you can go to some of the bars and restaurants in this village. The area is also nice for walking skiing and toboggan.

Record-breaking snowfall for Austria

Powder conditions on the slopes of western Austria, but it's chaos on the roads.
