Endless Powder – Discover the Cradle of Alpine Skiing

Uniqueness is both a key objective and central factor for success. Arlberg was blessed with this uniqueness, as it were, in the cradle. It is no coincidence that the mountain massif with its five villages bears the name, "The cradle of alpine skiing". As if that was not enough, 305 kilometres of slopes and 200 kilometres of freeriding terrain make it Austria’s largest interconnected ski area.

Skied on Monday, last day before closing due to covid19. They limited ticket sales to 1000. Great mountain even for a non-powder day; plenty of fresh groomed runs. Very spread out but not too much cat-tracking to get around. Only one express lift so it's slow going, which gives you time to enjoy the amazing 360 views.

Sunday, last day before closing due to Covid19. Even though they reached capacity and turned people away, lines at upper mountain lifts were still short. Gondolas were closed. Love the black diamond groomed runs off the John Paul Express. Exquisite lodges! It's like a bigger version of Sun Valley

Absolutely beautiful. Best place to ski in Quebec. Probably not a great hill for beginners, but amazing for intermediate to advanced skiers.

Definitely has some bald patches but the snow that is there isn’t terrible. No shuttle running and Sojern is closed so if you want to get to the south peak you have to drive over there.

We skied Saturday and even by lunch time you could still find sections of the mountain where the snow was still fresh! No ice just a lot of great snow! Visibility wasn’t the best but that didn’t matter when you had a soft landing. It was a busy Saturday though with the fresh snow and competitions going on.
