What a day! Powder everywhere especially in the bowls. Ski patrol
Was busy setting off dynamite for avalanche control. Highest lifts were closed to the peak but pretty windy by midday. My second time here,more impressive now that I've seen the bowl terrain

Definitely a record day. Line ups were short, snow fell pretty much all day, and that was on top of the 25cm that fell over last couple of days. We even saw a sliver of sun. I know. I didn’t believe it either.

Terrible today. Lots of stuff roped off. Only groomers and mogul runs open which were all washed off by mid-day.
I broke a 7 day old snowboard on the rocks sticking up between moguls.
Base depth is a true 6-10” of hardpack or ~12” of
wet powder if you can find any that’s not roped off.

Hard packed and rocky. Stay away from big sky until they get like 2 feet of fresh. Jackson hole has better snow right now.

If you like 25 min lines and being stuck on chair 5 for 25 min then this is the place. Great conditions but went against my motto....don't ski weekends. Stood in line at chair 6 from 855am to 930am to open as they had to check the line. You would think you would have done this at maybe 7am? Even 8am? Its a weekend and you got dumped with snow!!! Figure it out!!!

Good snow overnight, was skied out pretty quickly Saturday by large crowds and long lift lines. All in all a real good day on the slopes. PC still needs a lot of snow for the season to be great.

Got a few inches of fresh pow today. Visibility got worse in the late afternoon and the trails started getting lumpy. Tomorrow will snow again so this weekend should be overall pretty good.

Hour long wait at quicksilver just to get to thin lousy conditions. I guess reservations to limit crowds isn’t important on holiday weekends.

Skied Saturday and snow on the back side was stellar. Most other runs didn’t have anything fresh to grip onto but at least it wasn’t icy, we had some really quick runs. The lines were insane, skip skiing Saturday if you can ski other days.

Loved skiing mineral basin the afternoon of 1/4 after skiing Alta in the morning. Soft fresh snow and mostly empty. More snow on the way. Wax 'em up!

Good powder all morning. Peak 9 a little more than the 4+ inches on Peak 8.
No lines until around 10am. 15+ min by 11-Noon.

For a small base pretty soft and nice out there. Bring rock skis if you want to ski blacks though.

We had a great time, December 14/18, some snow, no black
 trail.
Getting food was very difficult due to Covid limitations, need reservation everywhere, very
expensive all the way around.
