Świeradów Zdrój Ski Resorts

Świeradów- Zdrój is a town and resort at the same time, which has about 4500 citizens. It is located in the south-eastern part of Lower Silesia. Unlike other resorts Świeradów doesn’t lie next to a big city, thanks to this it is a perfect place to relax. Świeradów- Zdrój lays 450-710 m.a.s.l. in Izera Mountains, one of Sudetes’ mountain ranges. Świeradów- Zdrój has a very good touristic base as a resort. Apart from typical accommodation, like hotels, guesthouses and agrotouristic farms you can find a place in one of health resorts, which are opened whole year. In the area of the town there are many restaurants and coffee shops. Bars with hot meals and drinks are also located next to the slopes. Skiers will find in Świeradów several slopes, from which most are with T-bar lifts. The most interesting route is available thanks to gondola lift, which will take you to Stóg Izerski. This is opened in 2008 ski track which is very well- prepared and attracts a lot of winter sports’ enthusiasts every year. In Świeradów you can easily rent equipment or use the offer of learning or improving technique with qualified trainers. Apart from skiing you can also use many services which are offered in resorts, like mineral water pump rooms, walking halls, spa, baths with healing waters and many others. There are also many monuments, like Dom Zdrojowy or Czarci Młyn. You can get to Świeradów from Szklarska Poręba, with the route number 404 or from Zielona Góra, route 361. There is also a possibility to get there by bus, but they are not running very often.
