Valle Nevado - Poor coverage due to lack of snow. With 1 meter more snow there would be 50% more skiable terrain. This resort has little to offer the expert. Best suited for intermediates and intermediate advanced skiers. Everything is overpriced and the food is horrible. But with enough snow it can be a good place to ski. I would be careful not to travel all the way here unless you’ve got solid snow reports detailing great coverage everywhere. - © Chris's iPhone

Ski Portillo - Just like the last reviewer, I too, wanted to like this place. The food and service are superb, the ski instructors world class. Sadly, they are badly in need of fresh snow with none in sight. Skiing off-piste is painful on the crusty faces and not really worth it until the snow softens in the sun. I wouldn't come back unless I knew they had meters of new snow, - © Bill’s iPhone
