Borovets - It's packed snow with a bit of ice but the higher runs are fine

Borovets - A cold front passed through yesterday afternoon and some prefrontal rain fell in the village until about 9pm when freeze levels lowered. It then snowed steadily for most of the night with 5 - 10 cm falling in the village. Temperatures have remained low since yesterday evening which has allowed snowmaking to also add to the cover. Today there has been wind about and only more sheltered lifts are running. The gondola and top of the mountain remain closed until conditions improve. Skiing is restricted to runs that have snowmaking and snow quality is variable and challenging due to freeze thaw freeze. Conditions are improving and winds should ease over next day or so, which should allow more terrain to open.

Borovets - After two days of blue skies and hot sun the snow has gone to mush,lots of brown areas showing through and hard skiing after noon. Had a stunning week skiing,think it was the best week of the season. Till next year.

Borovets - Great conditions if your up early and avoid the people with snowboard's that only slide sideways down the slopes. Off piste to be had if you know where to look.
