Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Jan 28 snowed all day until the evening, Jan 29 bluebird 11" up top is accurate. Snow was a bit heavy. The clumps are falling out of the trees and would seemingly take you out. DEEP up the headwall / casper. By about 1:30 the sun baked nearly everything all into hard, deep, frozen crud. Phenomenal day, but mostly groomers until the next dump. The mountain is chewed up deep. Sometimes you get lucky... Past 2 days were great.
