i have been going to hidden valley for many years and it has really changed in the last 2years. In the last 2years they have added brand new snow machines, a new lift ,2 emeggi carpet loaders, and a new service center on the north summit. the down hill terain is very good for beginers and intermediats but their is not as many options for advanced or expert skiers. they have 2 terrain parks and 1 small half pipe. The night life usualy includes the main slopes and sometimes part of north summit. In general it is a very good place for families.
