Deer Valley Resort - 17th, afternoon of the 18th, this morning from the house (didn't ski :-(

it was cold all week, so no melting / mashed potatoes at the bottom in the afternoon

small crowds, so still some powder in the trees - © anonymous

Park City - I was at Canyons on Sat 2/10 and Sun 2/11 and had a great time! Seems like the quality is super dependent on when the last snow was. Saturday was great because it snowed about 3" during the day. Runs were fully covered, not much ice, not many rocks. Runs in the woods were especially good.

On Sunday, things started to go downhill, especially on more popular runs and on specific areas like Iron Mountain. Lots of exposed ice and rocks. I'm assuming that since they got some snow on Sunday night, things will be good again today. In the end, they're doing a good job with what they have and it's still worth a trip out. The sheer volume of runs means you'll likely find coverage somewhere! - © Derek R.

Park City - What's not to like? Lift lines tiny. A few inches of fresh snow freshening things up. Sun shining. If you like taking it easy on blues you'd have enjoyed Tuesday, a lot... - © Phil

Park City - Boarded the last 4 days primarily at 9990. Was decent given the weather and lack of new snow. Had to dodge plenty of roots and rocks. Not impossible, but not ideal. - © anonymous

Park City - lines are comically long. been skiing here for probably 15 years and I've never seen park City with so few trails, even during season with far less snow. Where did my pass money go? There's plenty of snow sitting on unopened trails just waiting to be skied, but I guess Vail is continuing it's legacy of understaffing it's resort's. it's worse than two years ago when Vail had just bought PCMR. - © AJL
