Travelled with 4 other guys in Feb 2018. The slopes were great, plenty of fast runs and variety for beginner skiers too. The biggest disappointment of the trip was the Apres-Ski. I was shocked. I've never seen anything like it. The last 3 trips of 2018 and 2017 were as follows: Morzine, Bansko, Tignes and Ellmau. Price for fondue in the evening was €39 per person.... for melted cheese!!! We found both the quality and price of dining in Tignes to be unsatisfactory. The prices high and the quality low. We dined out twice and on both occasions regretted it. Tignes was by far the worst resort I have visited for evening entertainment and lack of atmosphere. So much so that a group of guys from the UK spent most of their evenings in the apartment cooking and drinking wine. I would certainly never return to Tignes and would be far more likely to stay in Val D'Isere if I wanted to ski these great runs again.
