Laid back village
Laid back village. Not much tree line skiing for bad weather days.

Yes the first review was definitely Les Coches or Montchavin, not Campagny which is miles away (but still on system). I've stayed in Bozel near Champagny several times now so it's a short drive up to Champagny, but parking is right by the gondola, it's a great way into the la Plagne sectors. The Champagny sector has some big south facing runs from the top of the Verdons. The run through the trees back to the village (using the road ,mostly) has mostly been pretty tricky on my visits, narrow and icy, and at the end of the day I prefer to put my tired legs on the gondola and ride down.. I would point out that there is no gondola up to Champagny le Haute you have to drive up there.
