Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in California scoops the 2013 Visitors' Choice Award for Best Park & Pipe in the West. With five parks and two halfpipes, there's no shortage of tricks and plenty for all levels, from mini pipes and pint-sized park features to supersized jumps and a 22-foot halfpipe—one of the largest in the country.

Disco Park - Located near the Main Lodge, is a path full of pint-sized park features. Clock your first airtime on the small jumps and get a feel for balancing on a box all in one lap. Each lap ends with a shot at the mini pipe, which allows beginners a touch of transition before taking it to the Wonderland pipe.

Jibs Galore - Just to the side of South Park, this park has nothing but metal and plastic protruding from the slope, in all shapes and sizes. The lower elevation of Jibs Galore makes it a perfect place to spend the day when the weather isn't cooperating. For an added bonus, keep an eye on the trees next to the park for hidden hits.

Forest Trail - This medium-sized park has properly proportioned jumps as a stepping-stone toward South Park, and small gaps onto rails and boxes.

South Park - Secluded from much of the mountain's skier traffic, South Park is a low-elevation land of fun. The setup here is always evolving and offering more lines. Start with the Superpipe at the top before heading into the rail features and jump line below that has made South Park a legendary place to learn tricks.

Main Park - This supreme snow park is stocked with technical rails and supersized jumps. Bring your biggest bag of tricks and impress onlookers overhead on Chair 6 and downhill on the sundeck.

18-foot Pipe - Mammoth has helped lead the way where half pipes are concerned. With the best equipment, the pipe building team cut it every night, so you can show up to pristine 18-foot walls.

22-foot Pipe - A stunt ditch that's stacked with pros all year round as they train for the big contests. Mammoth's largest halfpipe is one of a handful of 22-foot tall options in the country, and one of the longest, checking in at over 500 feet long. The pure scope and size of this monster makes it the premier place for pros to practice on the same size pipe they tackle in the X Games and the Olympics.
