After laying crystals down on Fairway, Pinedale, and Bunny Hill runs, the snowmaking inched its way across the mountain for opening Lodgeview this past week along with their terrain park of jumps, boxes, rails, and a tabletop. But alas, much of the human-made snow left rather hard packed conditions, prompting their snow report to warn skiers to be alert. But all that is rapidly changing: in the past 24 hours, 8-10 inches of new snow fell and a bit more is expected through tomorrow. While opening Apache and Cyclone peaks may need more fluff, Sunrise Peak is on its way.
