Playing a Little Hooky at Granite Peak
Overlooking the city of Wausau, Granite offers a 700-foot vertical drop, over 70 varied runs, mile-long intermediate cruisers, mogul runs, dozens of hits, jumps, rails and other terrain features, steep expert chutes, tree skiing glades, and the Midwest's longest highspeed lift. It doesn't get much better mid-continent. Conditions are the best they've been all winter and everything is fully open.
