Kicking Horse Sets Record
The previous record of November snowfall was 227cm, set in 2001/02. This November smashed that by 143cm and Kicking Horse is now listing a mid-mountain base of 370cm.
It was all people could do to contain their excitement at the quality snow Saturday revealed.
"It was epic conditions," says Michael Dalzell. "We protect the snow pretty well and don't let people poach the fresh before we open, so it was some of the best inbound skiing that I've ever seen."
