Hours of operation on the mountain will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., conditions permitting, with lift schedules and other services to be announced Wednesday, Dec. 5. The mountain is being pounded by rain as OTS goes to press so be sure to check for the latest conditions before heading up. The forecast is calling for the heavy rain to intersect with a cold front Dec. 5 and that potentially means powder, powder, powder. "With this kind of weather there is a chance of the deep stuff," says local rider Carolyn Dann. "With a little luck it could be an epic opening day." The mountain currently has a healthy base of 45 inches.
