SnowBomb will be hosting their fourth annual San Francisco Ski & Snowboard Festival on Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6 in San Francisco, Calif. The event brings winter sports enthusiasts in the Bay Area together to check out booths from top resorts and brands, drink wine and beer, and buy discount snow gear.

“Our Ski-Wine-Board-Brew festival is the premier attraction leading up to the winter season,” Event Founder Jim McAlpine said. “Five years ago we set out to revolutionize the customer experience at tired, old ski expos and today we’re thrilled to announce the concept keeps getting better.”

Over 20,000 feet of snow sports shopping and entertainment comes to the Fort Mason Center's Festival Pavilion.

With a VIP ticket, attendees have access to over 150 wineries and breweries offering tastings. Each entry (both general or VIP) into the show receives three free lift tickets and access to over 100 exhibitors and the latest ski and snowboard gear at over 70 percent off retail prices. More than 20 world-class resorts such as [R227R, Mammoth], [R440R, Sun Valley], [R48R, Big Sky], [R419R, Squaw Valley], [R493R, Whistler] and [R191R, Jackson Hole] will have booths on display, as well as top brands like Salmon, Rossignol, K2, The North Face and Dynastar.

New for 2011, SnowBomb has teamed up with Matchstick Productions to premiere their new ski movie, “Attack of La Nina” on Saturday, Nov. 5. The first 400 people in receive a free [R432R, Sugar Bowl] lift ticket.

Roy Tuscany of High Fives Non-Profit Foundation will be giving high fives at the front door of the ski show all day on Saturday in hopes of getting the Guinness World Record for most high fives. The foundation raises money and awareness for athletes who have suffered a life altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter sports.
