Locals Vote For Sunshine
Sunshine beat out other nearby resorts of Lake Louise, Nakiska, and Mt. Norquay in the 2007 Reader's Choice Awards of the Banff's Crag and Canyon and the Canmore Leader newspapers.
"People say the locals know best, so it is great for Sunshine to be selected the best from all the winter activities in the Canadian Rockies," said Sunshine's Mike Moynihan. "We work very hard at creating a memorable experience for our guests."
Sunshine receives over 30 feet of natural snow each year. Twelve lifts, including the most quads in the Canadian Rockies, service its 3,500 feet of vertical with expert-only slopes like Delerium Dive and Wild West. Sunshine attracts more than 500,000 skiers and boarders with Canada's longest ski season that stretches from November to the end of May.
