Elk Ridge closed their tubing hill last week to ready the lower slopes for skiing and snowboarding and expand their tubing runs. The small resort opened in December for tubing only. Recent storms dropped enough snow to allow the staff to add a second tubing flume and ready the slopes for skiing and snowboarding.
The resort reopened Friday, Jan. 18, with their rope tow and tube hill running. Their chairlift still is closed. Call 928-814-5038 to check current conditions.
