Who says it doesn't snow in early October? This past week's storm left over three feet of untracked powder at Wolf Creek Ski Resort and prompted the earliest opening day in Colorado's history.
So what did skiers and boarders get for their $33 lift ticket? Three lifts, lots of terrain, crazy morning antics and the excitement that only a few months has passed since Arapahoe Basin closed in July. Naturally we were there and photographer Jeff Cricco caught the action. Big face shots, deep powder and friends were all in abundance.
