The Canyons Professional Ski Patrol Association reached a new two-year agreement with the ski area and not a moment too soon. The greatest concern was whether the CPSPA members would lose their benefits with the future ownership of the resort in question. Although a federal judge denied Vail's injunction to stop the sale of The Canyons to Talisker Corp., the lawsuit over the sale still hovers. The Patrol's new contract secures their benefits for the next two years.
