March Riding Rocks Massachusetts
The first weekend of the month has Jiminy Peak dazed and confused - on Sunday, at least. That's when Jiminy's Retro Day rolls around. Pull out those wide-collar shirts and leisure suits. Sure, it's embarassing, but it will get you on the lift at retro prices. Plus, the, "best"-dressed guests will land swag. Yes, that's swag, not shag... and no retro skis, folks. The bindings won't be legal (and neither should the clothing).
At Ski Butternut, riders can watch Ski Patrol members from throughout the area
compete for bragging rights in the Massachusetts Ski Patrol Competition on Sunday. Best patrol team lands awards.
Over at Berkshire East, you can ride all of March for free - if you buy a season's pass for next year. That's a sweet deal if this is your home mountain.
