Eco-Hotel To Open At Teton Village
Hotel Terra, which mixes luxury and sustainability, is scheduled to open this December. The eco-hotel, located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, offers exceptional amenities and services expected from boutique hotels, but combines them with environmentally sustainable building and operating practices. Hotel Terra has LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification pending, which will make it one of five LEED-certified hotels in the U.S.
Amenities include a rooftop spa and outdoor hot tub, a café that uses organic and healthy ingredients, an Italian Trattoria Restaurant, and the Jackson Treehouse with the latest mountain gear and rentals. Rooms include flat panel Hi Definition televisions, wireless access, full screen interactive telephones, iPod docking stations, twice daily housekeeping service, 100 percent organic cotton towels and bath mats, and organic and natural bathroom amenities. Ultra-plush Terra Beds were custom designed for the hotel and feature a natural mattress with 100 percent organic cotton bed linens.
