If I cross the border, do I need to quarantine?
Yes. Must quarantine for three days if out of state for more than 24 hours or test out of quarantine. Additionally, out-of-state travelers must complete a state Department of Health travel form upon entering New York. Enforcement teams stationed at Port Authority and regional airports. The restriction only applies to travel to states beyond those that border New New York. The state is currently in Phase 4 of its reopening plan.
When and where do I need to wear a face covering?
Face coverings required virtually everywhere at the resort except when eating or drinking and whenever social distancing is not possible.

Travel restrictions between New York and Colorado: None.
Returning travelers will need to quarantine and be tested: The move to COVID-19 red level in many Colorado counties does not affect ski resort on-mountain operations. Pitkin County (home to Aspen and other ski resorts) requires visitors to complete a health affidavit and provide a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival or face a mandatory 10-day quarantine. This applies to residents and non-residents 10+. Counties are under color-coded risk levels throught Feb. 6.
Montana
Travel restrictions between New York and Montana: None as of Jan. 19. Mandatory mask mandate in effect for 5+ when in public indoor spaces.
Utah
Travel restrictions between New York and Utah: None as of Jan. 22. Statewide mandatory mask order for those 2+ in effect.
British Columbia, Canada
Avoid all non-essential travel. Mandatory negative COVID test for those 5+ 72 hours before flying into Canada. International travelers must self quarantine for 14 days and complete ArriveCAN application to enter Canada through Feb. 5.
