A strong jet stream delivers pacific moisture and orographic snowfall to Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado between Tuesday and Friday. 1-2 feet of accumulation appears likely at many ski areas including Mount Baker, Crystal Mountain, Banff, Schweitzer, Whistler/Blackcomb, Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Steamboat, Aspen, Snowmass, Vail, Loveland, and Winter Park.
For the Weekend:
A strong jet stream ushers two different storm systems into the Pacific Northwest between Friday and Monday. The 2nd storm system is the stronger of the two. Both systems will push snow into interior ski areas including Schweitzer, Sun Valley, Banff, Jackson Hole, Snowbasin, Steamboat, Vail, Loveland, and A-Basin.
