North America's start to the 2018/2019 ski season was one for the record books. From the West to the Northeast, ski resorts opened early thanks to cold temperatures and consistent snowfall. Vermont scored early season powder turns with some incredible 24-hour snowfall totals, while Colorado witnessed a complete turnaround from this time last season; one Colorado resort went so far as to break its historical snowfall record for the month of November, while many others in the region were able to spin their lifts ahead of schedule.

November finished strong, bringing 4-5 feet of powder to resorts in California, Tahoe and Utah in just seven days. Many skiers and riders compared this past month's conditions to that of mid-winter. Wow!
