North Creek, NY- On Saturday, September 22, Gore Mountain will host a Photography Workshop for beginner and intermediate photographers presented by Carl Heilman. This event is expected to sell out and offers guests a rare opportunity to learn from one of the most recognized photographers in the business, with Gore as the backdrop.

The workshop will cover many facets of photography including camera basics, photography principles, digital camera features and menus, lenses, and more.  Participants will learn about capturing mountain landscapes, wildflowers, and streams and cascades.  The 8-hour workshop features a combination of indoor instruction for working with the cameras, as well as plenty of on-mountain time to experiment with various techniques during fall foliage. The class is $90, or $76 for passholders, and includes lunch and a gondola ride.

Another learning opportunity on September 22 is Gore's second Downhill Mountain Bike Skills Development Camp. Beginner and intermediate bikers can learn how to ride with more control and confidence. The class includes all-day gondola access, and riders can choose from morning-only or full-day options.
