Meanwhile, spring is fast approaching with its annual rites all over the state. Ascutney is celebrating the impending arrival of spring and daylight savings time starting March 10th by extending lift operations until 4:30 pm. Mt. Snow gives the younger crowd a break on March 11 a Youth Pay Their Age Day. Kids ages 18 and under pay their age for a day's lift ticket. Sugarbush celebrates St. Patty's a day early with a $17 lift ticket at Mt. Ellen on March 16th.
Stowe will be shining brightly starting at 7 pm with a dazzling torchlight parade followed by fireworks. Smugglers Notch hosts a Superpipe Jam on March 10th with music, prizes and plenty of fun on Madonna Mt. Stay tuned for more goings on as the sun gets higher and the temps rise.
