INN AT THE MOUNTAIN: $11 million Inn expansion features 25 suites, rooftop terrace, a Mountain Marketa, and a Bru Bar offering up coffee, chocolate and beverages. The building itself features a geo-thermal system with 26,000 feet of pipe that travel 460 feet below the ground to use the earth’s constant temperature for winter warmth and summer cooling -48% more efficient than a traditional system. Rooms feature contemporary design with floor-to-ceiling windows, plus many with balconies. Work is ongoing at Barr Park, (named after David Barr, founder of Michigan Legacy Art Park), located between the Inn and Lodge, new site of our ice skating rink.

TERRAIN PARK UPDATE: The former site of Tuck’s Terrain Park next to Cheers is now just Tuck’s, a wide-open space with banks, rollers and moguls. Terrain park rails, tubes, bumps and boxes have been moved to Little Vincent, an intermediate trail off the Clipper lift.

The new wood core ski makes turning easier for the beginner and more responsive for the advanced skier. We also added more snowboard boots and snowboards for this upcoming winter, making our entire snowboard inventory exclusively provided by Burton.

WAFFLE CABIN: This franchise (not owned or operated by Crystal) will be serving delicious waffles and hot coffee out of a quaint little cabin will be located next to the Mountain Adventure Zone at Totem Park.
